Intimate Millstone Wedding | Miller + Joel

Word of the day: cozy. From the plaid shawls and warm colors, to the fire pit. Everything screamed fall.

Joel and Miller’s intimate fall wedding was hands down one of the most fun weddings I’ve not only shot, but attended. From the moment we arrived we were treated like best friends. There were no awkward pauses or weird vibes, even though this was the first time we had met. The day was filled with cracking dirty jokes and dancing in between photos.

The sun played peek-a-boo most of the day, but decided to be the star of the show during the ceremony. The ceremony was short, sweet, and intimate. We immediately went into family photos, the wedding party, and some beautiful portraits of the bride and groom. I loved watching Joel and Miller together – in a not creepy way. They just had this bond and chemistry that was so unique and special.

At the reception, there was so much dancing. Like a crazy amount of dancing and it was genuine, not like the usual Cupid Shuffle stuff. After food, toasts, and yummy cupcakes, there was a sparkler send off. Then my favorite part – what I would consider the “final dance” for the night. Miller loves the song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers. And wouldn’t you know, I freaking LOVE that song too. Miller and Joel bounced around singing to each other. It was pure and innocent and I drank in every second of it. It was the best way the night could’ve ended.

It was an incredible day.

Seeing these two so happy and so wrapped around each other’s hearts, as cheesy as it sounds, that’s why we do what we do. That’s why we love being the ones to capture all the unique, silly, and personal moments. Their happiness fills us with happiness.

Happy marriage, Reagans.
