Grayson Highlands Engagement | Angelina + Jeremy

Angelina and Jeremy are getting married this upcoming June and WE. CAN’T. WAIT.

For their engagement session we drove up to Grayson Highlands State Park in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. There were bits of snow leftover from a few nights before, but for the most part poop just covered the ground. Horse poop that is. Grayson Highlands is known for the wild ponies that roam around. They’re beautiful creatures but can definitely be protective of their own. If they feel closed in or threatened at all, they will charge. Especially the mommas. I can’t say I blame them though.

This awesome couple is up for anything. They listened to all of my weird ideas, went along with every prompt, and didn’t mind making out like the two crazy kids they are. Not to mention Angelina willingly climbing up a boulder while wearing high-heels. That’s no easy feat.

But above all that, I think the funniest (and strangest) thing to happen during the shoot was a strange man picking up the horse poop and sniffing it like no big deal. Apparently that’s a thing.

We had such a good time, I can only imagine how much fun their wedding day is going to be.
